Airbus Fly Your Ideas Challenge / Brand Creation

To actively address rising concerns over the environmental impact of air travel, while at the same time raising brand awareness in the global graduate market, Airbus required an original, far reaching and high profile solution.

 

The answer was the Fly Your Ideas Challenge – an international competition open to students in any discipline. Over a series of rounds, teams were invited to come up with and develop original ideas that could reduce the carbon footprint of aviation. With an initial take up of over 2500 students from over 100 countries, the nine month competition lead through to jury presentations and a prize giving ceremony at the 2009 Paris Air Show.

 

Oyster originated the competition branding and, in conjunction with our CBP partners, ensured delivery of all competition components, both online and offline, for a fully integrated event based communications campaign.
