VCI Launch Marketing Campaign

Launch marketing campaign for VCI, an electric vehicle charging point installation company

challenge

To raise awareness of VCI in the local area by creating a hard-hitting launch marketing campaign

Vehicle Charging Installs Ltd (VCI) is an accredited electric car charging points installer for domestic and commercial use, based in Hertfordshire. As a new company, VCI needed an integrated launch marketing campaign to raise awareness of its service in order to generate business leads.

With no track record, no internal marketing department and no marketing strategy in place, VCI approached Oyster for help with a launch marketing campaign.

Developing an integrated local marketing campaign

Hertfordshire-based marketing agency Oyster, developed and implemented a cost-effective integrated marketing strategy for VCI with the aim of raising awareness of the company and its products to homeowners and local businesses. This included: proofreading the company’s new website prior to launch; setting up social media accounts for VCI on Facebook and LinkedIn, and writing a series of organic posts to promote the company; designing an impactful leaflet for a door drop marketing campaign; setting up a pay per click search advertising campaign on Google; and creating an impactful launch advertising campaign on Facebook.

The help and advice I have received from Oyster Studios to date has been second to none. They have gone above and beyond to launch VCI in a timely and cost-effective way, as well as helping me to make some valuable business connections in the local area. They are creative thinkers and a complete pleasure to work with. Their enthusiasm has really helped me to drive the business forward and I can’t recommend them enough.

Enquiries are rolling in!

Oyster has successfully completed the first phase of VCI’s launch marketing campaign and enquiries are now rolling in as a result of the door-to-door leaflet campaign, Google Ads and Facebook activities. The next phase of the launch campaign is to thoroughly optimise VCI’s website to improve its organic search rankings on Google and Bing for terms like “electric car charging points installer” & “government grants for electric car charging points”.

When we first launched the Google PPC advertising it was achieving a conversion rate of 2.5% for completed enquiry forms and this has since risen to 4.3% following some basic search engine optimisation and ad refinement. We are currently generating a new enquiry for every £15 spent on PPC advertising and we expect this cost to reduce once we complete the planned full programme of SEO.
