Airbus Group (formally EADS) brings together their aircraft, aerospace, defence systems and helicopter manufacturer divisions under a single organisation. Oyster Studios has worked in conjunction with a number of partners to deliver in-depth support to their recruitment marketing activity across both advertising and careers events. To date this has included press campaigns, digital promotion, literature and marketing collateral as well as event delivery and candidate management.

Like most recruitment marketing campaigns the aim is to differentiate the employer from the competition and improve the quality and quantity of job applications. The most recent ‘Challenging Perspectives’ campaign was built around the concept that working with Airbus Group would require candidates to look at things differently and challenge the status quo. The use of high impact, contemporary and experiential images, tailored to different audiences created stand out but at the same time delivered a consistent brand experience. Detailed infographics were also used to explain the application process and present complex data and information in attractive, engaging formats.

As part of this activity we were also involved in the creation and deployment of an innovative rich media digital campaign that included imbedded video and detailed messaging to not only target very specific candidate profiles but also to enhance over all brand engagement.
