HERTFORDSHIRE DESIGN AGENCY LAUNCHES A HAT TRICK OF WEBSITES FOR ENGINEERS
Hertfordshire design agency launches three websites for Mitsubishi Electric’s Jet Towel hand dryers, Shemesh Automation, a manufacturer of production line machinery, and Sensors UK, suppliers of measuring equipment for the engineering sector, follow months of development work to deliver on functionality as well as form.
Garry Lewis, Marketing & Communications Manager at Mitsubishi Electric, comments: “We are delighted with the new look website Oyster designed for Jet Towel. It’s clean and efficient – very much in keeping with our product range – plus it’s extremely user-friendly.”
According to Creative Director and co-owner of Hertfordshire design agency, Oyster Studios, Iain Humphrey, “When designing and developing effective websites for clients, it’s vital to balance aesthetics with functionality and ease of use. Very often designers produce beautiful websites that are frustratingly difficult to navigate and therefore fail to deliver a good customer experience. Conversely, web developers often create sites that work efficiently but are visually unappealing and do nothing to support and enhance the company’s brand image.
“At Oyster we have a small team of creative designers with a keen understanding of web technology and search engine optimisation. This ensures that the websites we create not only look great, but work efficiently to support our clients’ businesses.”
Indeed, Oyster’s claim is supported by David Fraser, Marketing & Product Manager at BBI Detection, who confirms that after he hired Oyster to refresh BBI’s website and carry out search engine optimisation earlier this year, “Enquiries received via our web contact form doubled compared to the previous three-month period and our online search rankings went up 73 places.”
